We are trained to diagnose and treat your foot and ankle pain, and can help you with anything from acute injury management to functional problems, issues relating to diabetes or arthritis, and a range of foot conditions like corns and calluses, an ingrown toenail or anything related to general foot care.

What type of pain are you experiencing?


  • Often excessive pressure on the joints within your forefoot lead to an increase in inflammation and pain. At Echuca Foot and Ankle Clinic, we are experienced in offloading these areas utilising various materials and interventions to effectively relieve such pain.

  • The midfoot is the highest point in the arch and pain in this area is quite a common complaint from clients due to multiple issues.

    The most common causes of midfoot pain stems from overuse, acute injury, arthritis, tight calf muscles and sometimes incorrect fitting footwear.

    Common conditions often include:

    • Neuroma/ Bursitis & Ganglions

    • Plantar Fasciitis

    • Fractures & Stress Fractures

    • Lis Franc injuries

    • Osteo & Rheumatoid arthritis


  • Ankle injuries are common in sport, however, any condition that affects the ankle can cause severe pain leading to dysfunction and lowered mobility.

    Common conditions often involve:

    • Plantar Heel pain

    • Achilles Tendonitis

    • Posterior Tibial Tendonitis

    • Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome (MTSS) or shin splints

    • Adult Aquired Flat Feet

    • Ankle Ligament Sprains & Chronic instability

    • Ankle Joint Fractures


  • The most common causes of knee pain are often related to aging, acute injury and repeated stress on the knee joint. It is essential to have your knee pain correctly assessed, as abnormalities in your foot posture or poor biomechanics can greatly influence knee function.

    Common conditions often include:

    • Knee Osteoarthritis

    • Patellofemoral Pain

    • Baker’s Cyst

    • Illiotibial Band pathologies

    • Os Good Schlatter’s


  • Many patients visit the the Podiatrist to help treat and improve their lower back and hip pain. One of the major causes of pain within this region can be misalignment of the lower limb and incorrect foot biomechanics.

    Common conditions often include:

    • Hip Osteoarthritis

    • Limb Length Discrepancies


  • Whether you are currently requiring ingrown toenail care or help with blistering due to sport, we are here for you.

    If you are experiencing one or more of the following conditions: ingrown toenails, corns and callous, blistering, plantar warts, Athlete’s Foot (Tinea) it is important to have these quickly assessed and appropriately treated in order to avoid potential or prolonged pain and discomfort.

    Please understand that we cannot provide long term nail care in order to allow continued increased availability.

You should see your
Podiatrist if:


  • You are experiencing consistent pain in your feet, knee, hips and/or lower back

  • You think you may have sprained or broken your ankle - did you know that we can order appropriate imaging, supply and fit CAMBOOTS if required?

  • You have developed an ingrown toenail

  • You are experiencing Bunion pain or other toe deformity pain

  • You have painful corns or callous

  • Pain, numbness or swelling in one leg - it is normal to suffer from sore or swollen feet (after running a 10km race or standing on your feet all day). If you are experiencing sudden pain, swelling or numbness in one foot for no apparent reason and aren’t sure if this requires attention, this can be a sign of a more serious condition and you should seek urgent advice.
